quick update for february/march

The second half of #112 - we're the rats is coming along very nicely. If you're a Big Supporter, I've posted various teasers on the Discord server. But, with how much more complex this second half is, it (along with the Zandalari project, of which there is a very meaty teaser on the Discord server as well) will probably be finished just a few days late into March.

The Shop (new alternative to Patreon memberships)

Patreon is introducing a new feature that reminds me a lot of how Gumroad worked. There is now a shop tab on my Patreon page that will allow you to buy individual posts/projects.

I think this'll be a great alternative to the usual membership for those who want to see newer projects sooner while still supporting me at a lesser price point. So I'm going to start adding projects into the shop real soon, starting with #111 there.

So as I've been warning for several months leading up to November, Patreon mandated a change over to subscription billing by November and we have transitioned over to that model. Existing patrons are set to be billed on the first of every month, while new patrons will be billed on the same day they originally subscribed on. Again I don't anticipate that much of a change in how I operate my Patreon; you will receive any content I have designated for whichever month you are billed.

Patreon forcing a change to subscription billing

So as a creator, I received an email from Patreon with them stating that they will be switching to subscription billing soon. This is a mandatory change to comply with iOS/Apple policies.

My Patreon at the moment uses first-of-the-month billing, but when I switch to over to subscription billing, you'll simply be charged every month on the same day you originally pledged your support.

How I choose to distribute my content won't be changing. If you are registered as a patron of mine...

Updated the Dwarf/BE models last month with the same features you'd expect from similarly updated models (more geometry, real nipples, an asshole, etc.). Siggy is placed against the previous (and ancient) Dwarf model, while the BE is placed against the unedited model (yikes).
